Fred Bamwesigye appointed Director General of Uganda Civil Aviation Authority

Mr. Fred Bamwesigye has been appointed as Director General of Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA).

According to the appointment letter signed by the works and transport minister, Gen Katumba Wamala, Bamwesigye commences work today (October 01, 2021). Mr Bamwesigye has been Acting Director General following the retirement of Dr David Mpango Kakuba in June 2020.

Previously, Bamwesigye served as the Ag. Director-General UCAA, deputy director general, human resource manager both at UCAA and National Environment Management Authority (NEMA). He is a board member of National Social Security Funda (NSSF)
